Stop Flu and Tuberculosis

Our onsite TB screening and Flu vaccine clinics start this week in our San Francisco centers. Do your part to keep our participants and each other safe from these infectious diseases.

Did you know elderly populations are disproportionally affected by Tuberculosis? As humans age, the potential for a compromised immune system grows, along with other age-related comorbidities.

This remains true for seniors with other common illnesses as well, like the flu, which, according to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), has led to 12,000-52,000 deaths annually between 2010 and 2020, with 70% - 80% of those deaths attributed to people 65 years and older.

This fall, we will offer annual TB testing and flu vaccines for On Lok employees at many of our centers.
