On Lok's Infection Control Team highly recommends indoor masking in all patient care areas due to a summer surge in COVID-19 infections. This adheres to the Department of Public Health's guidance. Masking is not mandatory at this time, yet it is recommended for the safety of our participants and employees.
“Patient Care Areas” are any areas participants regularly access to receive healthcare. They include day health centers, On Lok-operated housing facilities, lobbies, waiting rooms, examination rooms, transports, elevators, and hallways. They also include home settings when home health and care are delivered.
