Elizabeth Soberanes, creator of Latin Dance Grooves and an On Lok 30th Street Senior Center employee, blends her passion for dance and community service. Join her and many On Lok staff at Carnaval San Francisco May 26.

On Sunday, May 26, Latin Dance Grooves (LDG), led by instructors Elizabeth Soberanes and Dudley Flores, will be in the SF Carnaval Parade (contingent #26), featuring 175+ intergenerational dancers and volunteers from Latin Dance Grooves, Oberlin Dance Collective, Rhythm & Motion, Mission High School, and On Lok 30th Street Senior Center.

This parade contingent is celebrating its 15th year participating in Carnaval, and this year's theme is “At the Crossroads of Transformation," a celebration of rites of passage, milestones, and changes in one's life.

Elizabeth breaks barriers. Her work with fellow dancer Dudley Flores at ODC/Dance Company inspired Latin Dance Grooves, and we would be honored if you joined them at Carnaval SF this year. On Lok elevates seniors by dismantling stereotypes.
