How did you come to work at On Lok: I was first introduced to On Lok while assisting with flu vaccinations for the staff, giving me an initial understanding of On Lok’s senior care services. After joining On Lok, I was excited about the PACE all-inclusive, preventive, and coordinated approach to helping participants age at home with dignity and independence. I began as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator and have since advanced to my current role as a Healthcare Recruiter, excited to be part of On Lok's mission.
What do you like most about your job: I like On Lok’s culture, including its mission, vision, and core values, which motivate me to contribute positively to both participants and staff. The supportive and friendly environment inspires my work, and I am grateful for the collaboration and partnership I experience with everyone I work with throughout the recruitment process. In my recruitment role, I value the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by hiring quality talent and helping job seekers build their careers within On Lok. Visiting the On Lok PACE Centers is especially rewarding, as it allows me to see firsthand the dedication of our staff and the meaningful interactions they have with our participants each day.
I like: travel and sports (Basketball, Football, Soccer, Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton, etc).
I know: how to cook and find the best deals.
I could not do without: a computer and the internet.
In my free time: I shop and spend time with my family.
My superpower is: planning, either for work, travel, and more.

This quarter, On Lok embarked on a new mission: to modernize our Finance and People operations using Oracle and ADP. Our goal is simple — simplify your experience by bringing multiple enterprise applications together into one system, so you can access everything you need quickly and easily.
Our Mission Possible journey has been off to a strong start since we kicked things off in October.
Over the past two months, teams across On Lok have completed 43 design sessions, laying the groundwork for the systems that will shape our future and empower our teams and participants.
Oracle: 38 sessions · 30 team members · 54.5 hours invested
ADP: 5 sessions · 6 team members · 6+ hours invested
The Change Management team has officially kicked off the Mission Possible roadshows! These sessions are valuable opportunities to get the latest mission intel, ask questions, and provide feedback as we move into the next phase. Don’t miss it — your participation could even earn you some fun prizes!
In the coming weeks, our Finance and People teams will begin the configuration sprints — the phase where all the design work starts coming to life inside the new systems.
Keep an eye out for the first Mission Possible newsletter arriving in early January. It will include details about training, readiness resources, and insights from our recent survey — everything you need to stay mission-ready.

Last week, On Lok staff and participants enjoyed a vibrant holiday concert at On Lok 30th Street Senior Center featuring Coro de la 30 (“Choir of the 30th”).
Part of the Community Music Center’s (CMC) Neighborhood Choir Program, this group meets at our center every Tuesday to practice songs in Spanish, English, and Tagalog. While they are a staple here for their winter and spring performances, they also represent our community across the Bay Area—with past appearances at the On Lok Gala, the SF Public Library, and most recently, Mission Dolores.
This year’s holiday program was a true musical extravaganza, showcasing Christmas carols from across Latin America—including Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Argentina—alongside classical Renaissance and Baroque traditions. We are proud to host this beloved tradition that brings so much warmth, culture, and harmony to our 30th Street community!
